Australia Day 2026 in Perth: Family-Friendly Events for Children

The evening concludes with a spectacular drone and fireworks show above the Swan River a 30-minute dazzling display that promises to amaze kids and adults alike.

Families looking to head a bit further out can visit Churchill Park at Rockingham Foreshore from 5:00 pm to 8:45 pm. The event includes stage performances, roaming entertainment, children’s activities, amusement rides, food vendors, and a vibrant fireworks display.

Chilli in the Valley at Swan Settlers Market

From 24th to 26th January, Swan Settlers Market in Herne Hill hosts Chilli in the Valley, a fun-filled festival perfect for school holidays. Kids will love the petting zoo, scavenger hunts, and family-friendly activities, while adults can explore spice-filled stalls, enjoy live music, and watch chilli eating competitions like the Hot Wings Challenge.
